LT helm only has 60 armour. It helps a good deal, but some situations seems to be just as hard even with the helm, for instance if you're dealing with multiple groups of ice golems you'll get the slow down hex so often the helm doesn't really matter.

I think I'll be expanding on my guide sometime after new years by adding a W/Mo build and find out how to run everywhere around southern shiverpeaks.

BTW about that LT helm. It's still in the game as you all probably know. No one said where it can be found so I will. Its from the crafter in Henge Of Denravi for like 8 iron ingots and like 2 fur squares and 400g or something really cheap and its well worth it.

Awesome guide. Really helps those who dont have much gold in there account. Keep the info. coming. I'll try to provide you with a couple of good wa/mon builds for running to forge as well as a few other shiverpeak runs.

Yes! You tell all the w/mo a w/e can run just as well!

Just 1 suggestion, if your expecting to take alot of dmg from atks, I suggest Mist Form[Elite], you cant use Charge! though.

edit-Forgot to say what it does, you cant deal or take dmg from attacks

I just sorta skimmed over the details and noticed you mentioned using charge and saving sprint. Charge is not a stance so while you are at times only using charge you get no benefit out of your shield. Charge can stack with stances since it isn't a stance and there may be particular areas where saving charge to stack with balanced stance may prove more useful. Charge and Sprint (and armor of mist) do stack but there is a maximum movement rate. However, such stacking can get you out of negative movement penalties such as Mind Freeze (not cripple, obviously). Just some thing I didn't notice mentioned while glancing over.

I believe you can also use places like Megaupload or Fileplanet or some other such place that many people on this site use.

Rapidshare is annoying as of now, and I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that I would rather not have to pay for a premium account in order to download the file now.

Default W/Mo build for droknar run

Very very interesting.... good job. Very well detailed and explained most of my questions. But I found that the LT helm did not do as much as i had hoped. The hexes didn't last as long. But I took waaaay more damage... i guess you gotta pick your poisen and hope for the best :P

I have a pretty good w/mo build that I would like to share.

Attributes

12 strength
16 tactics (with sup rune and helm)
6 healing (leftovers)

For skills I use....

Healing breeze ( this comes in handy when you actually have a good spawn and aren't getting nailed by worms and have time to regen, you should cast this before you go into a huge mob)
Healing Signet ( pretty much a last resort, if y ou have to use this while you are still running through stuff you are screwed, only when you are out of range of worms and others you should use this)
Mend Ailment ( I like to use this instead of purge conditions because it has a quick regen time and you don't always have 2 conditions, AND you get healed when you cast it)
Holy Veil ( I have found that this helps ALOT, much like remove hex but works better. You go into a mob, stick it out till the end, and you get a mind freeze and you take off holy veil and nail charge. You run like a mad man outta there to a safe spot. Doesn't work the greatest when you are running near avicara or grawl necros though.. they eat it up)
Balanced Stance ( works on them nasty worms, and with 16 tactics it lasts 21 seconds, which should get you past the giants and worms np if you have sprint going before you use it.)
Sprint ( pretty self explanatory, I use when balanced stance runs out and charge is recharging)
Charge ( I use at the beginning when i am running through that damn tunnel cave thing, cuz the worms get you, the avicara take off your enchants, and when you have a bad spawn, there are more on the other side, and you do all you can do just to make it to the other side and there are more, but it stacks with Balanced so it works great sometimes)
Endure Pain ( I use at last resort, works best when you have around 100 hp, because any lower, when it comes off and if y ou are still in teh group or in radius of a worm... you will die. But more than that is almost pointless because you could of made it. Better to be safe than sorry though.

Thats pretty much it with my build. Normally works ok, still fixing the odds and ends. IGN Unholy Bearer if you have any questions.

Edit- Purge conditions works better than mend ailment. Also, if you sacrifice 1 strength attribute point, you can get 8-9 with healing, giving youa 7 pip regen. I have found that running with 11 strength instead of 12 works way better and i can make it about 1/3 times. If i die, its at the tunnel just outside of Lornars, which depends on the spawn, and every drok runner knows, its about the spawn.

LBS member here. Just wondering can any of you point me to a thread that LBS is not the OP of where we actually flamed anyone?....didn't think so.

Any threads here that display us helping or giving back to the community? There are many.

As far as I know we never discourage anyone from learning how to run. Hell, we have built our business on teaching people to run. Yes it is true that we charge for our knowlege but trust me when I say that charge is minimal as to what you make with the LBS name. You also get (IMO) the privilage of playing with one of the best guilds available.

I for one applaud the OP on this guide. I think it is a great starters guide for a W/E. I myself will never run this way but thats not to say it is wrong.

PS in the future if you want to start a flame war the best way to do it is single out a group or individual on this forum.

Not to go off topic but if you care to look at my guild alignment you would notice im also a member(Graduate) of the running academy, the warning was simpily there because if you had been on GW when some members first discovered this you would know why I posted this disclaimer due to certain, comments made by some newbies of the guild.

To move on from the above...

GREAT GUIDE!

I think it is great that people are willing to do things like this, since they are very helpful and allow others to get the general idea of running. In brief, a well written guide that explains the information thoroughly I think I will have to try it myself one day ^_^

Good job

Your build is really great, it's a shame that you're using a HOD Sword though.. So expensive, though, for running I'd always prefer the Fiery Flame Spitter above the HOD Sword.

Uhh, why would any of us flame? We've all been on the other end of it enough to know how immature it is.

I have 3 and only paid 2K each. Plus materials of course.

If you bought them for 2K + material cost won't make them less expensive you know.. Though, as long as you don't customize them, it's fine with me

Ya my bad. Didn't bother looking.

Now that I know this person is LBS. Don't follow this guide the OP doesn't know what they are talking about.
